The service on my vehicle was fine! Problem is It took two hours for an oil change and tire rotation! I had to miss a dental appointment because I was told it would only be less than an hour! Appointment time was 2 pm and I left the shop at 3:50! I also think changing $46 for a cabin filter is excessive! Been a loyal customer for over 15 years! Just telling it like it is!

I have always given Ray Miller a 5 star rating and would today minus one issue. To charge me 3% for using my credit card comes off a bit excessive. As a businessperson I am faced with the same challenges. While services have continued to go up and labor charges continue to rise charging the consumer for using a credit card which is the norm in our society today seems misplaced.

My vehicle came in for repair. It was determined that a valve body on my transmission was needed. GM was not able to ship a part so after several weeks, I asked for a new transmission. This happened, but it took several more weeks to get the transmission and then several days to get the transmission installed. I am frustrated because I had to call the dealership myself over and over again to get updates. Even when someone told me they would call me back it wouldn't happen. Also, GMC should be ashamed of the $45 dollar a day for a rental car. Ultimately my care is fixed and I am thankful, but the process could have been much easier with better communication.

I had a wonderful experience at Ray Miller Buick. The Service Department is very friendly and knowledgeable! When I told them what was going on with my vehicle, they diagnosed it immediately. They repaired my vehicle and I am back on the road. They also provided me with shuttle service, so I didn’t have to find a ride home. After they repaired my vehicle, the shuttle service came to my home and took me back to the dealership to pick up my vehicle.

My truck repair took almost 4 weeks exactly. Although I do think this took a good deal longer than it should have, my primary frustration is around lack of communication. During the four weeks, I called numerous times and asked to speak to the Service Manager (Marty) only for my call to go unanswered and to attempt to leave numerous messages with no response. I acknowledge at least one of these weeks, he was on vacation and upon that discovery I asked to speak to the other manager for my phone call to ring, go to voicemail and his voicemail box be full. I was told numerous times during the course of the 4 weeks "it will be tomorrow or the next day at the latest" only to wait until that period had gone by and have to call for an update and then be informed "another part(s) have to be ordered, it will be a few more days". Towards the end of the four weeks, I started contacting my sales person, Corey Hamner. Corey was always on the spot either with a quick answer, quick response via text or quick to return my phone call. Corey would always check on a status and let me know someone should call me back from service. He was polite and kind but also apologetic for something he had no control over. I couldnt ask for a better sales person. I had actually reached out to Corey on October 20th and he got with service and was told someone would call me. I never heard from anyone for a week. I reached back out to Corey on October 27th, very frustrated ( although not at him) and shared that I had heard from no one. I asked for the General Manager's name and he provided Donnie Roden. He also went and got with a service manager and they finally called me several hours later and told me it would be ready. My truck was finally ready for me to pick up on Tuesday, October 28th, 1 day short of 4 weeks that I had dropped it off. My real frustration isnt about the time as I was provided a "loaner" in the mean time, although it was inconvenient not having my truck for a month. My frustration is about lack of communication. Most of the time I had to reach out and frankly if I didnt reach out, I dont think I would have heard anything. I get that business have a lot of challenges, such as lack of staffing, employee vacation and plenty of others, but this is by far the worst service experience with a vehicle I have ever had. I would welcome a phone call to discuss it further. I would also like to point out that I have a monthly finance payment that I make to GM. I think it would not be unreasonable for it to be considered for someone to compensate me for this past months payment as I was unable to use the vehicle I pay for. If anyone would like to reach out and discuss this further, I can be reached at 256-394-1623. For the record, Corey Hamner is a great sales person who follows through and takes care of his customer. He went above and beyond to take care of me during the sales and this service experience.

As for the service writers and the cashier I would, as always, rate them 5 stars. My issue is with the fact that my front-end collision light is on and will not reset or go off. After being diagnosed by the technician that the front camera is bad and needs to be replaced $950.00. I went to the internet and saw this is a well-documented issue and may have some ties to updates from On-star. Ironic how my On-star just updated and my subscription ended. I got in my manual found the customer assistance service number and called them which accomplished nothing. Was told repair the truck and we may reimburse you and we may not. When you pay 80K for a Denali truck you would expect the technology to last longer than 3 years. This is my 3 GM Truck in a row. I have always given stellar reviews, but sadly this is my last GM Vehicle. Very disappointing.
